not exactly related... but when i was a kid a campsite near my home randomly decided to dump a decomissioned mig 21 in its car park (had what looked like bullet holes in the cockpit glass.. probably just damaged in transit but i was a kid... ooo bullit holes exiting)

spent a lot of time climbing on and crawling in that thing

(not the one i was climbing on....im sure i have pictures of it somewhere... but they’ll be in my giant pile of old ass pictures i really honestly will scan one day...)

really was... anything worth anything was long removed from it but it still had lotsa cabling and doodads and pneumatic thingiebobs...lol

and as the engine wasnt in it anymore that was pretty much my rainy day hideyhole
